Sushi is a favorite treat of mine. Years ago I was afraid to try it but once I did I was in love. Whenever I try to think of something fun to eat with friends or family, sushi is always at the top of my list. It's shapes, colors and contrasts are fun to paint too!

I had fun cropping these cherries close up and playing with the positive and negative space. I really concentrated on keeping this one loose(even though the strokes might look carefree, each one really takes a lot of thought!).

Apple Tree
